Code Of Fundraising Conduct

We encourage you to read these terms before Fundraising and using our application. By registering with us, you are agreeing to accept and adhere to these terms.
PrediktThis (PT) may change the content of these terms at any time and any amendments affecting users will be communicated.
Regulations
- It is recommended that people fundraising via PT are 18 years or over.
- Your account can be suspended by us at any time without explanation if we detect any misuse.
- All free games are based on a scoring system and intended for fundraisers to enjoy and results and are not the responsibility of PT
- No content must be added to our fundraising App that is inaccurate or misleading, or contains content that is defamatory, abusive or discriminatory.
- No photographs should be uploaded that could cause offence or that are of a sexually explicit or potentially offensive nature.
Transactions
- PT does not hold bank details of it's fundraisers within the App
- PT will ensure players have access to at least 12 months fundraising and playing history.
- PT will display a ‘by week’ player history of our free game and financial log of fundraising.
- PT will clearly display information about the donation amount which is fixed and also the discretionary Matchday prize as chosen by the club
- The financial commitment for each fundraising week will be clearly displayed on the App.
- PT holds no financial responsibility and the App is a tool that simply facilitates fundraising. Financial transactions are solely the responsibility of the parties making donations and playing our free Prediktions game.
Rules
- PT ‘Rules’ outlines the process to all players and makes it clear this is a fundraising game against others and not directly against any club
- PT signposts players on where to go on the site and what the links represent.
- PT clearly displays the game, users, matches to predikt, donation, expected Matchday Prize in the free game and players will be communicated to via push notifications and email.
- PT will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of unauthorised use of your Account. When registering with us you are agreeing to indemnify PT against any costs, claims or damages arising in connection with the use of, or access to, your Account by any third party as a result of your negligence or breach of these terms of use.
- When registering with PT for the first time, you are required to choose a username and password. You are responsible for ensuring your security details are not shared with other people and have the facility to change your login details at any time.
Payment
- PT confirms the expected Matchday Prize that players may potentially win in our free game and this should be claimed directly from the club or Team Manager that has set the prize
- It is the responsibility of the players to claim their prize from the club.
- You agree to donate to the club or charity in good faith and this is managed centrally by PT
- If you are independently sent payment from the club in the form of a Matchday Prize, that later is found to be the result of a miscalculation, you are obliged to return these funds to the club when asked.
- PT will pay a Matchday prize as advertised on the App and also a prize to a League winner if applicable. If the sum of all donations made after bank charges are not greater than the Matchday Prize, the prize will be reduced. Similarly, if a prize has been advertised for the League winner(s) and the donations received after bank charges and Matchday prizes does not equal or exceed the League winner(s) amount, the League winner prize will be reduced to the level of the dinations received after bank charges and Matchday prizes.
Deadlines
- PT reminds players that they have not submitted their prediktions and also displays reminders of deadlines in the Notifications section of the App.
- Groups are able to see who has yet to meet the kick off deadlines and are encouraged to notify fellow players.
- Prediktions are locked down when submitted and edits can only be made up until the kick off of the first fixture.
Systems
- PT is managed on its own bespoke server by a dedicated international host. Whilst we are protected by a reputable and secure hosting supplier, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data and any information is added at your own risk.
- Players will receive error messages on the screen if any functionality has failed to process correctly.
- Any improvements made to PT will be carried out in a test environment before being deployed.
- Any interruptions to service with games delayed or players unable to join groups/games, will be void. All players will be notified by PT Support Team.
- Daily PT system back up ensures any failures with systems can be restored.
- PT holds no liability for incomplete games or systems failure and all games affected will be discarded.
- All transactions history will be backed up and recorded and any queries in relation to games can be reviewed
- Players have the facility to Logout of their session or delete their account at any time. Security is an integral part of the development of PT and server security, compliant independent payment links and player security measures are taken seriously.
- Players ‘Settings’ enables change of photograph, password, username or email address to help protect identity and heighten security. You can delete your account here also.
- Your use of our fundraising App is your own personal decision and we accept no responsibility for any consequences that are alleged to have occurred through your use, or misuse, of the fundraising services.
- You agree to indemnify and hold us free from any liabilities, claims, losses or damages as a result of your negligence as a result of unauthorised access to your Account.
- PT developers will not be liable for any loss or damage in connection with:
- use of, or inability to use, our App or systems functionality.
- use of, or reliance on, any content displayed on our site.
- loss of personal funds.
- a virus, system security breach, or any harmful information shared on our site including through the Chat facility.
Prediktions
- All players are invited to donate to the club and can then make prediktions in our free game and there is no obligation after invitation to join the game.
- Players predikt the scores PT has chosen centrally and they will be saved and displayed on the screen alongside the actual results when games have concluded.
- PT will display the points scored for each game and the total scores of all players.
- Transparency of every players prediktions is encouraged and only if a player opts out to sharing their scores with others in the group, will they be kept confidential.
- All prediktions and winners are reliant on the actual final results of future football matches and therefore analysis of other players submission is not encouraged and will not result in any unfair player advantage. A player who has donated and a player requesting free entry to the game have an equal chance of winning the Matchday prize.
- PT will add the actual final scores of the fixtures and run the results therefore all players are encouraged to check the Results section and ensure this has been done correctly.
- All games are played in good faith – invitations are required to join a group and players cannot manipulate the prediktions of group games to unfairly win a prize outside of the intended spirit of the fundraising game.
- Any suspicious behaviour identified can be reported and will result in the player being removed from the fundraising App.
- PT is a fundraising App and not a betting application. We have taken appropriate legal advice and are not required to register with any UK regulatory body.
- Games are played over the standard 90mins – no extra time or penalties.
- If games are postponed, the fixture is removed from the game and score calculations.

Personal Identity
- When you register PT you can use your own name or a player name.
Data Control
- You have the right to control your personal data. You can update your personal data in PT Settings and also delete your account and data altogether. You can also contact support@prediktthis.com and request your account and personal data is permanently deleted.
- When you use PT, you will share personal information when registering. This information is used solely within the fundraising App itself and not shared with any third parties. You have the right to add, update and delete your own data.
How Data Is Used
- When you download PT, we capture information - username, email address, mobile telephone number. These are unique identifiers and enable you to be invited to fundraising games. We also keep a record of prediktions you make.
- Your email address is used to send emails to you notifying you of the outcome of the game and also occasional reminders.
- PT can access the player names to send invitations. If you are in the Contacts of another mobile telephone they may invite you to join a game through this method. This can be accepted or rejected. If you do not want to be listed in an individuals Contacts / mobile telephone, it is your responsibility to advise them of this.
- Your PT user/playername is displayed on the App along with your chosen profile photograph.
Who Else Can View Your Data?
- Your personal data may be visible by other players whilst you are a registered PT player.
- Your email address is only visible to the Team Manager (PT)
- Your mobile telephone number is not visible to anybody on the App other than yourself in PT Settings.
- Your play name and profile photograph is visible to everybody in your specific game
How is information stored?
PT keep your data for as long as you are a player on the App. When you delete your PT account this is no longer accessible to anybody including PT

Fundraising Code Of Conduct

The way in which PrediktThis fundraises and asks for support affects people’s trust and confidence in fundraising and we follow a strict code of conduct and raise funds in an ethical and proper manner. We adhere to the Fundraising Code Of Conduct which can be viewed in full here https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code.
Here we outline sets the behaviour we expect from our Fundraising Managers and all fundraisers. It includes treating people fairly and with respect and being open and transparent.
1.1. PrediktThis Fundraising Team
- Our fundraising will always operate within the legal parameters and be open, honest and respectful.
- We aim to raise funds for sports clubs and help the local community and will be polite to clubs and fundraisers at all times.
- PrediktThis will not unfairly criticise or insult other people or organisations.
- We will not actively encourage anybody to cancel or change a donation to another sports club.
1.2. Asking for people to help raise funds via PrediktThis
- We will not fundraise in a way which is an unreasonable intrusion on a person’s privacy, is unreasonably persistent or places undue pressure on a person to donate. All fundraising will be promoted through marketing materials (posters etc..) and players encouraged to support their local sports club.
- PrediktThis will not continue to ask a person for support if that person clearly indicates – by word or gesture – that they do not want to be involved in fundraising.
1.3. Informing PrediktThis donors and treating people fairly
- The fundraising materials we use are completely transparent and will not mislead anyone and will clearly confirm the fundraising objective.
- Mistakes are difficult to make with PrediktThis as all donations are a set price. Any mistakes made however will be listened to and rectified by our Fundraising Support Team.
- PrediktThis is not in a position to offer financial advice to anybody that uses our App to raise funds.
- We treat everybody fairly and comply with UK law in this regard.
- PrediktThis takes all reasonable steps to treat people fairly, and are available to answer any questions that a fundraiser may have.
- No funds will be taken via our online payment gateway if PrediktThis has reason to believe, that a person lacks capacity to make a decision to donate, or is in vuneravle circumstances which mean they may not be able to make an informed decision.
- If PrediktThis receive funds and are later informed that an individual does not have the capacity to make an informed decision, we will return the money to them.
- PrediktThis does not have the functionality to take regular payments from fundraisers and it is the choice of the individual whether they donate each week. Similarly, it is clearly stipulated on our App that funds can only be accepted from individuals aged 18 or over. If we discover payments have been made by anybody below this age the funds will be returned.
1.4 .PrediktThis approach to complaints about fundraising
- Any complaints in relation to the raising of funds via PrediktThis should be directed to our Directors at fundraising@prediktthis.com immediately.
- PrediktThis will ensure that complaints are investigated thoroughly and fairly to find out the facts of the case, avoiding unnecessary delay and you can expect an acknowledgement within 24hours
- PrediktThis will regularly review the contents of complaints any lessons to be learnt to help us with future fundraising activity.
- PrediktThis is operated on a voluntary basis by the Directors and has no other employees and therefore all complaints should be directed to them as highlighted above.
- All PrediktThis fundraising records are available to the respective sports clubs however if anybody suspects any mis-management of the funds being raised this should be flagged to the Directors immediately at fundraising@prediktthis.com.
- PrediktThis will keep all complaints confidential and protect the person raising a concern from victimisation and harassment.
- If any individual is not satisfied that their complaint has been handled sufficiently, this can be escalated to the Fundraising Regulator;

1.5 PrediktThis Funds Raised
- All fundraising through PrediktThis will be transferred to the sports club it is intended for and for the amount raised as specified in the App and in line with the agreement between the club and the fundraising platform.
- All funds raised are available to all fundraisers on the App under Results>Fundraising.
- PrediktThis does not specify the reason for the fundraising, that is the decision of the sports club at the end of the fundraising season.
- PrediktThis allows all fundraisers to play a weekly game and score points. The club who has raised funds is able to offer a discretionary prize which is a small % of the funds raised. This can be in the form of membership fee discount, vouchers, clothing or equipment etc…
- The PrediktThis donation level and also the potential prize for entering the game is specified at the outset.
1.6 . Processing Personal Data
- This is outlined in our Terms & Privacy Policy
1.7. Payments
- All payments made via PrediktThis to raise funds will be via our App and a fully compliants and reputable payment gateway thatmeets the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
- PrediktThis have integrated Verified by Visa and 3D Securecode for online transactions and all fundraisers will receive a receipt for their donation and an email confirming they have been accepted on the App.
- PrediktThis get charged for transferring payments however this does not affect the total funds raised and PrediktThis are liable for all charges.
1.8 PrediktThis Agreements with Sports Clubs
- Before entering into an agreement with a sports club anting to raise funds PrediktThis will carry out appropriate checks on them to make sure we are confident they are reputable and fundraising appropriately.
- Conflicts of interest must be discussed when the club meets PrediktThis in person to ensure the entire fundraising process is transparent and all parties are happy to proceed.
- PrediktThis will only enter into a fundraising agreement with sports clubs with the permission of the primary contact at the club.
- an agreement will be in place before any fundraising commences when they create a team and engage in a fundraising game (Matchday 1)
The agreement will include:
- the names and addresses of all the people and organisations the agreement is between (the parties to the agreement);
- the date on which each party signed the agreement and the length of the agreement;
- any terms which relate to ending the agreement early or making changes to it;
- a statement of the main aims of the agreement and how the parties will achieve those aims;
- terms for paying fees and expenses to PrediktThis
- confirmation of the purpose of the fundraising
1.9. Ensuring PrediktThis are meeting the Code of Fundraising Practice
- we make all reasonable efforts to monitor our data protection responsibilities and reporting requirements
- PrediktThis regularly review training needed to keep up to date with changes to the Fundraising Code Of Practice
- we regularly meet with the sports clubs fundraising through our platform to ensure they are fundraising appropriately.
- we have setting out a clear policy for handling complaints and feedback, including the time frames, which will be outlined at the initial meeting in person and followed up with a Complaints Procedure in writing.
- PrediktThis will pass on funds to you as soon as reasonably possible, and in any case within 28 days, unless otherwise agreed.
2.0 PrediktThis statement of intent
PrediktThis will confirm the following information when accepting donations from fundraisers:
- the name of the sports club we are helping raise funds for
- the amount of funds being donated
- the fact that there are administrative deductions to be made from the fundraising as agreed with the sports club
2.1.PrediktThis Online Platform
- we always make sure that our contact information is easy to find on our website.
- we meet the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended in 2011) and wider data protection requirements.
- we let users know if the website uses cookies. The way you do this issuitably prominent and understandable to make sure that if the user agrees to you using cookies, this decision is informed.
- we clearly explain how you collect and use personal data in our online privacy policy
- funds raised through PrediktThis online fundraising platform goes directly to sports clubs
- we share an agreement with all clubs outlining how our Fundraising administration fee is calculated your pay will be calculated and agreed
- we adhere to all legal requirements relating to the Payment Services Regulations 2017
2.2 PrediktThis messages to mobile devices
- we do not send text messages to fundraisers. When they join our community they opt in to receiving pop up alerts on our App only and can delete their account at any time.
2.3 The law in England, Wales and Scotland
In the law of England, Wales and Scotland, a lottery is a type of gambling which has three essential characteristics. PrediktThis is a dedicated fundraising platform.
- You must pay to enter the game – PrediktThis is ‘free’ to join for club fundraisers
- There is always at least one prize – a prize can be awarded by the sports club (not PrediktThis) however this can also be ‘zero’ and it is at the clubs discretion
- Prizes are awarded purely by chance – our PrediktThis free game for fundraisers is based on a points system with the highest score the winner

- When you donate via PrediktThis you will automatically be entered into a free prize draw at the club you are supporting
- You can request to be part of the free prize draw without donating to the club by writing to us (see below)
Fundraisers – All Options
- You can make a donation, be entered into the clubs free prize draw for refreshments and join in our PrediktThis game for free with an opportunity to win a Matchday prize as chosen by the club you are raising funds for
- You can make a donation only and opt out of the free prize draw by writing to us (see below)
- You can enter the club prize draw for free only, by writing to us (see below).
- You can play our weekly PrediktThis game for free by requesting a Matchday entry code from us in writing (see below)
If you wish to opt out of the free prize draw after donating, enter the prize draw for free or request a Matchday entry code to play our PrediktThis game without donating, please write to us using a first class UK stamp at the address below, clearly specifying your requirement with your full name, address, telephone number, email address and player profile name if you have an account with PrediktThis. If you are requesting a free Matchday Code, you must also specify the Team Name and Matchday number. All of the above requests need to be received 24 hours beforekick off, i.e. by 12noon on a Friday for all PrediktThis games starting on 12noon on Saturday.
